SAS Virtual Are Go! The
completed SASV webpage was uploaded today,
enabling us to begin operation immediately. The
launch was delayed from Monday, due to a problems
with our ISP. "The airline already looks set
to be a sucess," commented acting president
Dominic Rhodes. "We have at the launch 10
pilots, and this looks set to rise rapidly. We
now need to look at filling the vacant management
positions in the airline, including the one I am
occupying at present. It is vital for the airline
to have its own management team, so that it may
retain its own unique style." More details
on the positions available can be found on the
employment opportunities page of our website.

Launch of SAS Virtual Delayed. The
launch of SASV could not go ahead today, as
planned. Unfortunately our ISP had to undertake
some serious upgrades on one of its servers,
causing problems with uploading, delaying the
launch of our webpage. We have been in contact
with the ISP, and they say the problem should be
resolved by the end of the week, so our we should
begin operations within a few days.

Launch Date Announced
for SAS Virtual. The official launch
date for SAS Virtual, the new member of the
Uniflyer Alliance was announced today. A
spokesperson from the new airline said, "Everything
is looking good for an official launch on 13th
November. Most of the Internet site is completed
and the fleet is ready. However the new winter
timetable has just been released and so we need
to make some small adjustments to our timetable.
The airline will launch with Dominic Rhodes,
Uniflyer Alliance chairman of the board as

SAS Virtual
Announced. The Uniflyer Group today
announced that a new virtual airline, SAS Virtual
Scandinavian Airlines, was to be launched. The
airline will be based on the operations of the
real airline, SAS. A spokesperson said, "We
decided to base the new VA on SAS as we felt our
presence was slightly weak in Europe, and SAS
fits into our alliance perfectly. It is a very
dynamic airline therefore it will work together
well with our airlines such as Millennium Airways.
The creation of the airline will bring over 50
new destinations to the Uniflyer Alliance, as
well as a modern fleet of aircraft, including the
new de Haviland Q400. We will make a further
announcement in two weeks time to confirm the
launch date of the airline.
